Honestly, anyone would be hard pressed to find a more versatile LB in the league. I'm not disrespecting anyone else but Pat just takes the cake. He is amazing from sideline to sideline and is a hybrid style linebacker that can adapt to any situation at any given time. Glad he's on our side :) Keep up the great work Willis!!

This is the niners year. I just with the front office would have spent more money on some good players to help you out. Sometimes it feels like they just want to be average. If were going to make a run for the playoffs they need to get at least a good wide out and a good cb. And what about gore whats up with that? I was hoping you would make that last game of the season so your streak for consecutive starts could last longer. I understand why you didn't though. I don't think most players in the NFL would even play with a cast. I'm surprised you didn't mention Takeo Spikes. It seems like you both are close. I follow you on 49ers.com when you are interviewed or when they write about you and now on here. I also follow you on Twitter and Facebook. Your by far my favorite player and I think you will be the best MLB the NFL has EVER seen once your are done with your career! Can't wait to read more :)

Great read Patrick. I'm a big fan of you and even bigger fan of the 49ers. It was a bummer when you got injured, but inspiring when you continued to play with a cast. Madden is a great way for guys to learn the game. The game of football has come to Costa Rica, and new teams are playing in a new Federation of American football. Any interest in helping with the sport here? We need sponsors so we can get gear for these kids. We also need coaching help and it is beautiful here. We could put on an "NFL experience" type event to increase public awareness for famiilies, etc. Please let us know if coming to visit us in Costa Rica appeals to you.

I have never wanted to spend money on a jersey because their so expensive but I bought my 1st jersey and it's yours. While watching our games this past year my favorite saying was "he's a beast". Every time I seen you on the t.v. I would say that. I thought it was going to help the team out but it didn't. With all that said, all the teams that got into the playoffs this year and every year it is clear that they all had a solid qb. This has been our issue for a while now and I think with the new coaching staff in place, now it's time to address the issue. Our defense has been our strong point but when you guys are always on the field you get tired. Keep up the good work and I'll be rooting you on for many great years to come as a NINER. Be patient. We will make the playoffs and win the superbowl in the next 2 years guarenteed. So when I'm right, we can meet up for lunch or something...lol

first i would like to say, im glad you are niner and hope you decide to retire a niner. Second What do you think the organization is going to do about a QB. I believe thats all you guys need. I know i am not an expert but i think the organization should give a push for mcnabb and draft a QB and have mcnabb school the young QB. I know mcnabb is getting old in football years, but you can get two to three years out of him. what do you think?

Glad to hear you are liking the new coaching staff! It's good news to us fans. I know I also hope that Lawson, Franklin, Dashon and SPECIALLY Takeo come back as well.

Let's also hope the CBA can be agreed upon quickly after the superbowl, so the 9ers can keep the momentum going and we can have an AWESOME 10-11 season.

Yeah, I'm excited about Fangio, now we will have a coordinator who knows how to blitz and doesn't play conservative-ball like Mike the idiot Nolan and Greg Manusky did. Pat, you have no idea how much those 2 clowns held back this defense with their lack of creativity.

Fangio is a Dom Capers disciple, so watch for how the Packers rotate and consistently find new ways to pressure Pittsburgh's offense this sunday. Capers is a defensive genius and I hope Fangio is the same.

Good wins for the niners, that Rams was a very fun game to watch. Man Patrick there is not enough that can be said about you, you are just a BEAST! Led the league in tackles two out of your fist two years your other year you came in second. Pro bowl selection all 3 years, you are definitely going down as the best linebacker to ever play the game. With a coach like Singletary (one of the best in the history of the NFL) there is nothing that can go wrong. Willis keep it up and keep pumping your teammates to bring the house on opposing defenses. Give us an interception this week against this Josh Freeman. Love what your are doing out there with defense Willis, keep being unstoppable. Go niners! NFC West push has started, ours for the taking.

Nice back-to-back wins niners. The stars are shining, you guys never quit and are definitely scaring the hell out of the rest of the NFC West....their records won't hold up because they all have to play you guys. The 49ers are the last team anyone in the West wants to face....can't wait for you guys to suprise the football world when you make some real noise in the playoffs.
